Help COA raise funds at its monthly EPIC Garage Sale!
About the event
Each month, COA opens our warehouse to the public to purchase low-cost items for their homes and families, while also providing at no cost complete home furnishings for families transitioning from shelters to permanent housing. The Garage Sale is one of the key revenue sources for the many programs of COA with far-reaching impact---so much more than just an opportunity for getting a good deal! If you love thrifting, this is an event you will not want to miss! ALSO–all volunteers get a $10 coupon for anything they want to get at the sale that day. And anyone who volunteers for the Saturday afternoon shift gets a $20 coupon to use that day!
What will volunteers do?
Volunteers are essential in ensuring the success of this monthly event. Volunteers assist with providing excellent customer service to the clients and customers, with keeping the sale area stocked with a wide variety of merchandise, and with assisting the Warehouse Manager.
What will volunteers need to bring or wear?
Volunteers need to wear closed-toe shoes, be able to stand and lift at least 20 pounds, and work outdoors.
